“The best part of every hunt is seeing our clients reactions after the first flock of birds hits our spread”

Whisky Creek Guides:

“I am one of the lead guides at Whisky Creek Waterfowl. Chasing Ducks & Geese has always been my deepest passion, ever since the first time I went out with my dad when I was roughly 5 years old.

I grew up in a the small town of Cambridge, MN and doing anything in the outdoors was my favorite thing to do since we didn’t have much else to do in our town besides sports.

I moved to North Dakota in 2014 after graduating High School. Upon meeting some very great hunting buddies my passion for waterfowl exploded after not to long of being in ND. Nothing beats the views and jaw dropping sights of the waterfowl migration through the prairie pot hole region. After a few seasons in ND I realized that waterfowl hunting and being a waterfowl guide is what I wanted to do.

I have 22 years of experience waterfowl hunting, 10 of those years being in North Dakota with 3 years of guiding experience as well! North Dakota is a crazy place to see  and experience the beauty of waterfowl hunting with tons of different opportunities all the way from Early season honkers in September to Fat dry field mallards late in October and all the way through to the big northern late season honkers in December.

Waterfowl hunting in ND has been the place where I call home and that will never change. I can’t wait to help share those experiences and create memories for others in the great flyway we call home!”

I started waterfowl hunting when I was 15, and ever since then it has been my passion. I graduated from the University of North Dakota in 2022, and have been guiding hunts for 3 years. I’ve also spent my last 5 summers guiding salmon and halibut fishing trips in Sitka, Alaska. My goal is to give our guests the best North Dakota waterfowl experience possible.
