Our Priority is Your Experience

At Whisky Creek Waterfowl, guests can anticipate one daily hunt, primarily scheduled in the morning and occasionally in the afternoon based on prevailing conditions and guide discretion.

While we strive to accommodate specific requests, our priority is to pursue the most strategic approach for ensuring the group's overall success.

Required Licensing:

  1. ND General Game & Habitat License - $20

  2. Nonresident Waterfowl (Zone Restricted)

    (Purchase your license for zone 3() - $100

  3. Fishing, Hunting, Furbearer Certificate

    (Not needed for Early Goose Season) - $2

  4. Early Canada Goose License - $50

  5. Federal Waterfowl Stamp (Duck Stamp) - $27

  6. HIP Registration - Free

  3. Ammo (Shot Size: Ducks - 2,3,4 shot. Geese - BB, BBB, 2 shot.)

  4. Hunting License

  5. Waterproof Boots

  6. Rain Gear

  7. Warm Clothing (Gloves, Hats, Neck Gaiter, Jacket)

  8. Hand Warmers

  9. Headlamp

  10. Blind Bag

  11. Food & Drinks (Most morning gas stations are still closed, plan ahead for blind snacks)

  14. Cooler for bird meat

Dogs

At Whisky Creek Waterfowl, we believe every mans best friend deserves to come on the hunt. For the safety of your dog, we require you clear it with your whole group before bringing them. They MUST be trained to hunt, ultimately it will be up to the guide’s discretion. Call us with questions, we love a good hunting dog!

Bird Cleaning

Our Lodge, at Whisky Creek Waterfowl, has everything needed to clean and store your birds in the attached garage.

We also offer bird cleaning services. Ducks are $5 per bird. Geese are $10 per bird. *Federal regulations require a wing to be left on birds that you plan to bring across state lines

Travel

If you are flying in, Grand Forks (GFK) is the closest airport with about a 45 minute drive to Whisky Creek Waterfowl Lodge. Fargo airport (FAR) is a 2 hour drive. Both towns have car rental services, be sure to book in advance so there are no transportation issues. (If problems occur, give us a call and we will do our best to help) You will be responsible to get your group to the field for each hunt.
